Yes! I feel like the podcast marketing strategies are best built from the ground up, and are similar to a lot of book marketing strategies. It's much better to stay in your niche and double down there.

Such a great list of things to do to market. Thanks so much for sharing. Have implemented several of these ideas. Do have a question about submitting to Apple and Stitcher. Do each of the pitches need to be unique or can a boiler plate pitched be used - with some modifications if appropriate?

Make sure to make each pitch unique. The subject line should be catchy. Why should you be featured NOW? Why your show more than any others? What is newsy/timely?
